Programming • Art Supplies: Markers, Magazines • Scrapbooking Supplies: Artist Copycat Program: Require paintbrushes (we have some, not many), lots of paint, tarp to cover
a large floor area, canvasses, large drawing sheets. This art education program is an interactive way for teens to learn about
famous artists. In doing so, they will spend time creating art in the style of the artist. For example, the first session
will have teens learning about Jackson Pollack and then they will have a fun time creating an artistic array of splattered
paint onto their canvasses. • Duct Tape Crafts: Requires rolls of colored duct tape. Duct tape crafts is a fun and relaxing program where teens let their
creative juices flow. Last year teens made everything from wallets to roses to swords, shields, & hats! • Sports Equipment: 2 Basketballs • Teen Central BBQ Party: On our last day before Summer Break, May 6, we will host a party that will include about 35 teens
and 8-10 volunteers hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, plates, charcoal, lighter fluid, and cookies. Additional costs
will include acquiring gift cards, movies, books, and other prizes. This event will celebrate the 2nd year of the teen center
and all the work the teens have done! • Cultural: In an attempt to expand the minds of our teens, the teen center seeks to incorporate more programming that introduces
teens to cultures found both in the US and internationally. Anything that could enhance this program would be greatly appreciated.
