Teen Central Mentor As a mentor you have an important role at Teen Central. Here you have the opportunity to build relationships with junior
high students, play games, help them with homework, watch movies, and overall just be that role model in their life! Volunteers
interested in working directly with teens must turn in an application and complete a background check. You will participate
in a 1-3 credit hour service-learning course entitled 'Youth and Civic Engagement' taught by Dr. Patrick Vrooman that will
prepare you to work with youth. For each credit hour, mentors must commit 2-6 hours per week at the teen center.
Students enrolled in other BGSU courses that require service-learning can also serve at the teen center with completion of
a background check and participation in volunteer training.
Teen Central Fundraising Volunteer We need plenty of help in our fundraising ventures to ensure the Teen Center can remain operational and be the ideal teen
hang out! Help us plan fundraising events or just be a one-time volunteer!
Teen Central Public Relations Volunteer As a brand new agency in Bowling Green, we still need help getting the word out. Help us spread the news to teens, parents,
and community members! This can include anything from helping to plan PR tactics or simply hanging up flyers.
Internships Un-paid internship opportunities exist in three areas: Public Relations, Programming, and Grants Researcher. Interns are
required to receive BGSU credit for their work.
