Teen Council
Teen Central’s Teen Council is made up of your voices! We invite all teens to join us at our meetings, held once a week, to discuss programming, activities, and other Teen Central operations. We want to know what you are looking for when you come to Teen Central! Join Teen Council and let your voice be heard!

Past Events

• Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser - Our first annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser was held in April, 2009. Teens and volunteers along with Leadership BG served up a delicious three-course meal to Bowling Green community members. There was also a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. All of the proceeds from the event went toward funding for Teen Central. Thanks to everyone who volunteered, bought a ticket, or donated for the dinner. It was a huge success!
• McDonald’s Fundraiser Nights - Every year we hold a McDonald’s Fundraiser where teens and volunteers help out the McDonald’s crew in order to earn some extra cash for Teen Central! Be on the lookout for our next big fundraiser night and come eat at McDonald’s on East Wooster Street to benefit Teen Central!
• Movie Nights - Check out our programming calendar to see what movie will be playing at Teen Central next! We’ve previously featured films like Twilight, Hannah Montana, and Harry Potter!
• All Around the World Week - One week every year, we dedicate each day to learning about a different country and culture. We’ve traveled to China, England, Africa, and other places as well! Check out the programming calendar and be sure to come to Teen Central for the next All Around the World Week!
• Teen Center Olympics - BGSU’S University Activities Organization joined with Teen Central volunteers to bring the Olympics to the teen center! Races were held, games were played, and the event was full of fun! Make sure to check out photos of the last Teen Center Olympics in our Photo Gallery!
