9th National Outreach Scholarship Conference

Registration is now open for the 9th National Outreach Scholarship Conference to be held at Penn State from October 7-9, 2008.  The theme of the conference is "Innovation and Leadership for Engagement."

The opening plenary session will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7th, and concurrent sessions begin on Tuesday, October 7th at 3:00 p.m. and continue until noon on Thursday, October 9th.  President Graham Spanier, Penn State, will open the conference with welcoming remarks, and the keynote address at the plenary session will be provided by President Lou anna Simon, Michigan State University.  Other keynote addresses will be presented throughout the three days of the conference, including a presentation by representatives from the Arizona State University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and also several business and governmental agency representatives will be making remarks during the conference events.
