What is Community Connections? Community Connections is a group that brings together BGSU individuals, departments, and organizations that in some way work
with the community. The group is open to faculty, staff, and students, and all types of community connections are welcome.
The purposes of the group are to create a meeting place for those who work with the community across the broad spectrum of
campus units and areas, to develop a strong network to support campus community engagement and partnerships, and to share
expertise and best practice.
Community Connections Retreat June 2007, In June 2007, the Class of 2007 Executive Master of Organization Development (Karen Anderson, Leslie Kelly, Apryl Morin, Gail
Reese, Brad Schneider, Mary Werner, Jennifer Zoffel), with their advisor, Deborah A. O’Neil, Ph.D., facilitated a half day
retreat for Community Connections members to assist in developing a strategic plan for the development of the group. This
report is available to download below and will be the topic of our Fall meetings. We extend our deepest thanks to the EMOD
group for their work with us this summer.
