Volunteer and Community Partnership Fair… Was a Success

The first Volunteer and Community Partnership Fair sponsored by the Office of Service Learning and Civic Action NOW was a wonderful success!

Students, faculty, and staff who are interested in volunteering, internships, service-learning courses, and other partnerships were invited to come and hold conversations with local agencies.

The fair was held in the Lenhart Grand Ballroom in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, from 11-3pm. Over 40 agencies from Bowling Green and Toledo were represented at the fair, and over 170 students, faculty, and staff also attended the fair throughout the day.

The Office of Service-Learning plans for the Volunteer and Community Partnership Fair to become an annual event and hopes that even more agencies and students, faculty, and staff will attend next year!
