The Department of Public Safety provides security for many special events including sports events such as football, basketball,
and hockey. These services are paid for by the sponsoring organization.
According to the Bowling Green State University Handbook, a sponsored public event must have police officers present at all times, hired by the sponsoring group. The director of public safety will determine the required number of officers present. If you have any questions, or wish
