Crime prevention is a matter of personal responsibility. Crime has no respect for individuals. It is up to each of us in the BGSU community to help prevent crime. You can do this by:

• Being aware of your surroundings
• Reporting criminal or suspicious activity
• Getting involved in University-sponsored crime prevention programs

Crime prevention begins with you. Preventing crime requires active participation, cooperation and the development of partnerships within the University community. By working together, we can help to ensure a safe and secure environment.
