Bowling Green State University is committed to providing a
safe community and strives to ensure that information regarding
crime on campus is readily accessible to the public. For over
ten years the BGSU Department of Public Safety has reported
crimes to the FBI under the Uniform Crime Report (UCR). 2002
marks the fourth year for reporting campus disciplinary referrals
relating to liquor law, drug, and weapon violations, and the
reports include a separate reporting section for the BGSU Firelands
Branch Campus in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure
of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. The
information contained in the following pages is an encapsulation
of the crimes listed in the Uniform Crime Report for the BGSU
campus for the calendar years 2000, 2001 and 2002.
