Shelli A Herman Award

The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs (OVPSA) seeks applicants for the Shelli A. Herman Award, a $600 scholarship that will be awarded to a student enrolled in the College Student Personnel (CSP) master’s degree program.  Shelli A. Herman graduated from Bowling Green State University’s CSP program in 1990.  While a graduate student, she was very involved in Greek life and campus leadership initiatives. This endowed gift was motivated by an opportunity to reward and encourage outstanding graduate students at BGSU.  Additionally, Ms. Herman wants to share her appreciation to BGSU for the positive educational experience she received and to affirm her confidence in the leadership of the Division of Student Affairs.

The Shelli A. Herman Award is a scholarship presented to a graduate student entering his or her second year of enrollment in the College Student Personnel (CSP) program for AY 2012-2013.  Candidates must have an on-campus graduate assistantship in the Division of Student Affairs, an overall GPA of 3.60, and must demonstrate leadership, excellence, and citizenship in their assistantship.  The recipient will be announced at the 2012 HESA Banquet and the award is distributed at the beginning of a student’s second year enrolled in the CSP program.  Application and supporting materials are due to the Division of Student Affairs Office by August 31 2012 by 5:00pm.
