Student Affairs Staff Development Committee

PURPOSE:

To assess, coordinate, and implement Division-wide training and development activities.


FUNCTIONS:

  1. Offer development opportunities for Student Affairs staff;
  2. Coordinate and implement divisional staff development needs and opportunities;
  3. Sponsor educational and professional development programs and services for division.

MEMBERSHIP:

  1. Shall consist of one (1) representative from each of the departments within the Division of Student Affairs

CHAIR:

Chair shall be appointed by the Senior Associate Vice President of Student Affairs.


PROCEDURE:

All meetings shall be conducted within the framework of BGSU’s core values of respect and cooperation.


VOTING RIGHTS:

All members shall have equal voting rights.


REPORTING STRUCTURE:

The Student Affairs Staff Development Committee reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs.
