Mission: The Dining Services Advisory Board reviews and makes appropriate recommendations regarding policies and procedures pertaining
to the Bowling Green State University dining program including, but not limited to, programs, operations, facilities, and
budget.

Mission:
- Develop and maintain an inventory of the Division's capital assets
- Create a process for prioritizing deferred maintenance items, renovation and construction projects on a trimester planning
cycle (e.g., fall, spring, summer) for review by the Division's department and management group.
- Create a process for receiving and recording capital improvement requests from Student Affairs departments.
- Generate and maintain a list of long-term deferred maintenance and other needs using the prioritization process listed above
on an annual basis.
- Prioritize recommendations for annual construction and/or renovation projects to the Division's department head and management
group.
- Supervise and coordinate all major internal construction and renovation projects on behalf of the Division with facilities
staff, Capital Planning, and various contractors as necessary

Mission:
- To work in concert and partnership with Information Technology Services
- To assess information technology needs within the Division of Student Affairs
- To plan strategies and initiatives to meet the needs identified by Division-wide assessment
- To coordinate implementation of appropriate initiatives to address strategic opportunities and challenges
- To assess implementations and to refine plans to continue to increase divisional strengths and to address divisional challenges
with respect to information technology
- To make regular reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs, Student Affairs Executive Committee, Student Affairs Council,
or to the groups deemed appropriate by the Vice President for Student Affairs

Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy Committee Mary Edgington, Chair medging@bgsu.edu
Mission: The Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy Committee charge is to increase coordination between all groups sponsoring MLK events and
to sponsor community-wide MLK events.
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Advisory Board Amy Beltano, Co-Chair ajbelta@bgsu.edu

Mission: The LGBT Advisory Board serves in an advisory capacity to the staff in the Center for Multicultural and Academic Initiatives
on ways to improve the climate for diversity at Bowling Green State University and address issues facing the welfare of LGBT
students. The Board's scope extends to the review of campus policies, procedures, practices, and current conditions in the
area of educational programs and campus climate for students. The Board will review and make appropriate short- and long-term
recommendations related to this scope.

and assist units in providing diversity programs.

Mission: To facilitate the short- and long-range planning process for the Division of Student Affairs.

Mission: The Safety Committee charge is to address issues of campus safety and serve as a partner between university personnel and
students to resolve, investigate, or recommend new initiatives for a safe campus community.
