The Career Center staff assists students with employment, internships, and career decisions. Programs and services feature
personalized attention to developing skills and marketing those skills to prospective employees.

The Center focuses on multicultural initiatives on campus by providing educational programs, mentoring opportunities, scholarships,
and training for students and staff. In addition, the Center staff provides individual support through advising, tutorial
services, study skill sessions, and counseling.
Pre-College Services features federally-funded, pre-college programs for low-income, first-generation students which include
the Upward Bound and Educational Talent Search Programs.
Individual and group counseling services are provided for all students.The Counseling Center also facilitates the National
Testing Programs for professional certification and admission into undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools.
The Department of Athletics maintains 18 NCAA Division I athletic programs that are an integral part of the University's overall
educational program. The Department of Athletics is committed to student-athlete welfare, academic excellence, equity, diversity,
and athletic excellence. The main Intercollegiate Athletic web page has links to all University varsity athletic teams.
The Office of Disability Services for Students provides individual assistance to students with disabilities in accessing auxiliary
aids as well as negotiating disability related barriers. In addition, the staff provides educational programs for staff and
faculty regarding disability issues.

The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs oversees the Division of Student Affairs and its human and financial
resources.
The Office of Residence Life coordinates the residential services provided to Bowling Green State University students. Included
in these services are housing assignments, Educational Initiatives, Dining Services, Greek Affairs, residential judicial process,
summer conferences, and the Resident Student Association.
The Office of Campus Activities coordinates campus-wide entertainment activities and provides assistance to student organizations.
Specific programs include: student organization services, service learning/community service, University Activities Organization
programming board advising, campus programming, leadership development programs, and the President's Leadership Academy.
The President's Leadership Academy is a program for students who are serious about developing leadership skills and are committed
to assuming leadership positions in the campus and broader community.
Recreational Sports provides the facilities and staff to meet all the recreational interests of students. Intramural and club
sports, fitness programs, aquatics, and personal health enhancement are all part of the diverse offerings available to students.
Students Health Service provides quality, outpatient health care to all University students and their spouses. It serves as
a valuable resource for health care information and the promotion of healthier lifestyles. The Wellness Connection in the
Student Health Service offers a resource library, individualized nutrition and substance abuse counseling, and interactive
presentations.
The Wellness Connection serves as an educational and resource center for the entire campus. Programs and materials are available
that address general wellness as well as alcohol and drug awareness, personal relationships, and sexual offense awareness.
Student Publications produces all of the major University student publication including The BG News, The Gavel, The KEY, The Obsidian, and the University telephone directory. Additionally, UniGraphics offers desktop publishing
and design services to the University community.
Student Support Services (SSS) provides comprehensive academic support services to eligible students that enhance their productivity
and promote academic success. As a federally-funded, retention-based program, one goal is to ensure that participants persist
to graduation.
