University Conduct Committee

PURPOSE:

To review and make appropriate recommendations regarding policies and procedures pertaining to Bowling Green State University and the Student Code of Conduct.


FUNCTIONS:

  1. To adjudicate and resolve charges of the Code of Student Conduct.

MEMBERSHIP:

  1. Three (3) full-time faculty appointed to a one-year term;
  2. Six (6) full-time students appointed to a one-year term;
  3. Three (3) full-time administrative staff members appointed to a one-year term;
  4. Members may be reappointed.

CHAIR:

The chair shall be the Associate Dean of Students for Student Conduct.


OPERATING PROCEDURE:

All meetings shall be conducted within the guidelines as outlined by the BGSU Student Handbook.


VOTING RIGHTS:

All members shall have equal voting rights.


REPORTING STRUCTURE:

The University Conduct Committee reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs through the Dean of Students.
