Divisional Learning Outcomes
The Vice President for Student Affairs charged a working group to facilitate the development of divisional learning outcomes, based on the University Learning Outcomes. The Student Affairs Student Learning Outcomes were adopted in late-spring 2009 to reflect the broad, co-curricular learning experience and expectations of BGSU students.
Archival Departmental Assessment Reports
Departments have submitted annual assessment reports since 2009-2010 using the Division of Student Affairs Student Learning Outcomes. Prior year reports have been archived and may be found by clicking here .
Literature within student affairs concerning assessment and evaluation is robust, and practitioners are best-equipped to engage in these practices when they stay abreast of new knowledge and practices. To that end, the Division recommends staff members utilize information from national associations that focus on assessment initiatives.

Campus Labs Partnership
The Division of Student Affairs partnered with Campus Labs in fall 2011 to enhance staff members’ capacity regarding assessment and evaluation. Through webinars and consultations, staff members from the Division acquire technical skills and professional resources to improve their data collection and data-driven-decision-making strategies.
