Annual Greek Individual Awards

Each January, the Greek community at BGSU gathers to celebrate the successes and achievements of the past calendar year. Be part of this year’s Greek Awards celebration by nominating Greek students for one of the many awards. Greek students do phenomenal things through their involvement inside and outside the classroom. These students deserve recognition for their hard work, time, and effort improving Bowling Green State University and the surrounding community. Please take advantage of this opportunity to nominate a Greek member for their special effort.

Individual award nominations are due Saturday, November 14 by 5pm. The Greek Awards Ceremony will be Tuesday, January 26 at 9pm in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union Lenhart Grand Ballroom. Plan to attend the ceremony and support all the nominees and award winners.

Resident Advisor Recruitment

Do you know any students that have the potential to be a Resident Advisor? Believe it!  Do they have what it takes to be a leader on campus?  Are they interested in making a difference in the residence hall community?  Please encourage them to attend one of the RA Recruitment and Selection informational sessions.  They must attend one of these sessions to be eligible to apply to become an RA.

Ice skate for free and register to win a Wii!

Recreation and Wellness, in conjunction with WellAware, is hosting a Free Family Fun Skate at the BGSU Ice Arena on Sunday, November 15 from 3:30-5:30pm. Skating is free for BGSU employees and their families. Note: This is an eligible event for Faculty and Staff Wellness Incentive Program.

Freddie and Frieda Falcon are scheduled to fly in for an appearance at 3:30pm. Prizes include a Nintendo Wii and Wii Fit. For an entry form and to find other eligible events, please visit the Wellaware website and/or contact Caitlin Spontelli at cspont@bgsu.edu.

Fall 2010-2011 Housing sign up will begin November 30

The Office of Residence Life is pleased to announce Housing Sign Up for the 2010-2011 academic year will begin November 30, 2009! This is an exciting time for the Office of Residence Life as we prepare for new Residence Halls and Dining Facilities as outlined in the Housing and Dining Master Plan.
