Ribeau President’s Leadership Academy. Julie has served as the Interim Director since July 2008. She has provided outstanding leadership and seamless continuity to this important program. Inaugural Skate For The Cure
Recreation and Wellness staff invite the BGSU community to participate in the inaugural Skate for the Cure event to be held at the BGSU Ice Arena this Sunday, November 1 from 7:30-10:30pm. To aid in the fight against breast cancer, Ice Arena staff have been working with freshman student volunteers from a BGSU 1000 University Seminar section on Health and Wellness. One of the co-instructors for the course is Dr. Cathy Swick, Associate Director, Recreation and Wellness. All proceeds will be donated directly to the Northwest Ohio chapter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Event details are below:

Zumba Fitness-Dance Class
Zumba is a new way to get fit and have fun. Zumba Fitness-Dance combines a fusion of Latin and international music and moves
to create an effective fitness/dance program. It is not necessary to be a good dancer as Zumba Fitness-Dance can still burn up to 1,000 calories per class. The class meets Tuesdays from 5:20-6:15pm, November 10-December 15. The fee is $44.
Zumba Gold is a program for the older, active adult or the true beginner to become fit and have fun. Zumba Gold features similar combinations of music used in the regular Zumba classes. The Zumba Gold class meets Tuesdays from 4-5pm, November 10-December 15. The fee is $44.
