TRiO Collegiate Services (TCS) held its 21^st Annual TRiO Day Awards Celebration on April 1 ^st.  This year they introduced a silent auction, which brought in over $700 for their scholarship fund for juniors and seniors in TCS.  George Rice, a former BGSU staff member and alumnus, provided a motivational speech to students, parents and staff.  Talmarita Kenner performed a musical selection.  Awards were also given to over 50 students in recognition for their achievement, perseverance and diligence.  The 2009 Director’s Award was given to Kristin Macaulay, a graduating double major, who plans to attend graduate school to pursue Guidance Counseling.
