Diversity Dialogue SeriesCall for Spring 2009 Programs
The Center for Multicultural and Academic Initiatives hosts a monthly diversity dialogue series promoting the positive development of awareness appreciation, understanding, and skill building around issues concerning disability, age, race/ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, socioeconomic class, gender, religion, and other forms of human variation. We seek to foster dialogue, discussion and activism amongst the program participants through innovative and informative presentations and workshops. You are invited to submit a program proposal addressing diversity issues so that you can share your expertise, research, and knowledge with the Bowling Green State University community. Faculty, staff, students, and community members can submit program proposals, panels, workshops, and discussions. Dates and times of the programs are coordinated based on topics, space availability, and selected presenters’ schedules. The dialogues and presentations for spring 2009 will take place February 1 – April 25, 2009. PROGRAM PROPOSAL MUST BE SENT TO diversity@bgsu.edu or fax: (419) 372-2124. Mail proposals to the Center for Multicultural and Academic Initiatives, 425 Saddlemire Student Services at Conklin, Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, OH 43403-0158.
