Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award

The Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award recipient is Clayton Stewart, senior BSBA student with specializations in Economics and Supply Chain Management. The Award by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Clayton StewartNorthwest Ohio Chapter was presented at November 15 luncheon. Clayton was highly praised for his fundraising work for the 2011 BGSU Dance Marathon, which raises donations for the Children's Miracle Network and the BGSU Jerome Library. Clayton has also helped raise funds for the BGSU Jerome Library deck renovation and capital reinvestment, and the Medici Circle, which provides arts scholarships.

Clayton is an energetic and caring individual who, in just one year, has made significant contributions through his community service work. We give a standing ovation Clayton for winning the Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award and thank him for his dedication to BGSU and the surrounding community!


Volunteer for Fall 2011 Commencement

You are invited be a part of one of the most important days in the lives of the next class of BGSU alumni. Serving as a commencement volunteer is a great way to show your support for our graduates and to help make their celebration memorable.

Volunteers are needed for both Fall 2011 Commencement ceremonies:

  • Friday, December 16 at 7:00 pm
  • Saturday, December 17 at 10:00 am
