The Student Wellness Network received two national awards at the BACCHUS General Assembly in Indianapolis during the national conference November 4-7. One award was Outstanding Mental Health Program for their Eating Disorders Awareness Week. The second award was Outstanding Peer Education Recruitment for the Intensive Peer Education Training Weekend that is done in the spring. In addition to the certificate, the students also received $150 checks for each award. Peer Educator and Student Wellness Network Publicity Co-Chair, Courtney Diener, was voted the Area 7 (Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio) representative to the BACCHUS Network and will represent BGSU and the Student Wellness Network on a national level.
