New Residence Hall Names

Centennial HallThe Vice President for Student Affairs and the Office of Residence Life are excited to announce the names for the two new residence halls. The South Central Residence Hall, located at the former Rodgers Quadrangle site on Wooster Street, will be named Centennial Hall.  The Northwest Residence Hall, located just north of Offenhauer Towers on Merry Street, will be named Falcon Heights Hall.

Falcon Heights HallThe building names were selected via student opinion poll and honor BGSU’s 100 years, as well as the name given to temporary trailers that housed World War II veterans attending BGSU upon their return from the war. Both buildings are on target for opening fall of 2011.


Important Dates :

  • October 11-12: Fall Break
  • October 22-24: Family Weekend
  • October 23: Football vs. Kent
  • November 10: Football vs. Miami
  • November 24-26: Thanksgiving Break
  • November 26: Football vs. Western MIchigan
