Compassion Fatigue: Helping Caregivers Help Themselves

BGSU IMPACTEmployees are invited to a mini-seminar sponsored by IMPACT Solutions, BGSU’s new Employee Assistance Provider.

Caregivers give the gift of themselves every day. Sometimes the stress of the job, life circumstances, and personal challenges weigh us down. If we do not take care of ourselves, we will not be equipped to care well for others. This workshop offers insights to help understand and manage the stress that contributes to compassion fatigue. Learn lifestyle development options and techniques to manage stressful situations successfully along with balancing care-giving responsibilities with one's personal life.

Join us for a brown bag lunch on Thursday, September 23 from 12-1pm in Room 314 of the Bowen-Thompson Student Union with IMPACT Solutions facilitator Judi Fischer.
