The 9^th Annual Student Employee Appreciation & Scholarship Reception, sponsored by the Career Center was held on April 20, 2010.  Student employees, faculty, staff, and off campus employers were treated to an ice cream sundae bar while nominees in four categories were presented with certificates.  The featured speaker was Albert Colom, Vice President for Enrollment Management; while, the special guest was Juliana Barton, the 2010 recipient of Ohio’s Coolest Co-op Award sponsored by the Ohio Cooperative Education Association.

The scholarship recipients were:

2010 Off-Campus Student Employee of the Year
Kristin Bechstein, OSU Extension-Wood County

2010 Co-op or Intern of the Year
Melissa Rausch, BGSU Department of Recreation & Wellness

2010 On-Campus Student Employee Team of the Year
Information Technology Services, Digital Services

Each individual award winner received a $500 scholarship and a plaque. The Information Technology Services team shared a $500 scholarship and a plaque. An award plaque was also provided for display in the workplace of each individual and the team winner.
