An Author’s Goal Realized
Congratulations to BGSU’s own Deborah Marsh (Maintenance Supervisor in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union) and her mother, Carol Marsh, on the release of their first book, The Birth of a King. This book has been in the making for nearly 18 years, according to Deborah. The idea was conceived in 1991 and the first book rolled off the press on March 29 (just 3 short weeks ago). In that time, Amazon, Books-a-Million, and Barnes and Noble are offering it online and a publishing company in India has picked up the book and is selling it to many different countries throughout the world.
Plan to meet the authors during a book signing on Friday, April 9 from 10am-2pm or Saturday, April 10 from 12-2pm on the 2nd floor of the BGSU Bookstore. Deborah and Carol have penned a fascinating tale of the adventures in the fictitious land of Kinthoria and the plight of the main character (Jaren) as he accepts his call and destiny to save Kinthoria.
