Breaking Barriers to Seeking Counseling

The Center for Multicultural and Academic Initiatives will host the next Diversity Dialogue titled, Breaking the Barriers to Seeking Counseling: Multicultural Considerations , co-sponsored by the Counseling Center. This program will consider the multicultural students’ perspective on why counseling can be healthy and necessary. The Counseling Center staff including Dr. Garrett Gilmer , Jodi Thomas , and Karlen Moore will present information on their services and common topics for counseling help.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, 2009 from 4-5pm in Room 208 of the Bowen-Thompson Student Union. Make plans to attend this Diversity Dialogue event.
