Division of Student Affairs Spring Awards Program

The 2009 recognition program is scheduled for Thursday, April 30 from 8-10:30am in the Lenhart Grand Ballroom, Bowen-Thompson Student Union.

To have a successful and memorable event, your contributions are needed!  Please make note of the following:

NOMINATIONS
Day in and day out, Division of Student Affairs staff members do amazing work for our students and the University. You certainly deserve recognition!  Please consider nominating your colleague(s) for the following staff excellence awards:

• Administrative Staff Award  - recognizes a staff member’s efforts as:
  • Voluntary campus and community involvement
  • Exemplary service to students and other key constituents
  • Development of innovative and efficient programs and/or services
  • Going above and beyond position requirements
• Classified Staff Award - recognizes a staff member’s efforts as:
  • Voluntary campus and community involvement
  • Exemplary service to students and other key constituents
  • Development of innovative and efficient programs and/or services
  • Going above and beyond position requirements
• Outstanding Collaborative Effort Award  - recognizes a staff member's efforts as:
  • Resourcefulness and efficiency in the workplace
  • Implementation of best practices
  • Measurable achievements that have impacted the campus
  • Maintaining collegial working relationships that contribute to student success
  • Documented program goals that complement the Core Values and Mission of the Division and of the University
• Graduate Assistant Award  - recognizes a staff member's efforts as:

  • Exemplary service to students and other key constituents
  • Development of innovative and efficient programs and/or services
  • Going above and beyond position requirements
• New Professional Award  - recognizes a staff member's efforts as:
  • Voluntary campus and community involvement
  • Exemplary service to students and other key constituents
  • Development of innovative and efficient programs and/or services
  • Going above and beyond position requirements

Nomination forms are also available on the VPSA website. The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, March 16.

PICTURES
In keeping with tradition, a Division slide show will close out the event.  Please send pictures of your staff and department at work or at play to mailto:deannav@bgnet.bgsu.edu.  Submission deadline is Monday, April 6.
