Resident Advisor Recruitment and Selection

Resident Advisor (RA) recruitment and selection for the 2012-13 academic year is underway!  In November 2011, Residence Life began recruiting potential RA candidates by inviting them to information sessions around campus. There has been an overwhelming interest in the position this year! 

• 11 information sessions throughout November and December
• Nearly 500 students attended the sessions
• 378 students completed an RA application
• 320 students have been offered first round interviews

First round interviews will take place over four days from January 19 through January 27.  This process is for new applicants only.  Nearly 120 current and returning RAs will go through a separate interview process beginning January 28, 2012.
