Rachel Childers Economics Student Honored with Prestigious Award

Rachel Childers has been honored with the 2009 Frank W. Taussig Article Award by Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE). Rachel graduated in May from BGSU with an undergraduate degree in economics. She is continuing her education in BGSU’s master’s of economics program. The Taussig Article Award is bestowed upon the undergraduate or recent graduate submitting the best economics article in any year. Rachel’s article will be published in The American Economist and she will receive a cash award, along with a small monetary award going to the local ODE chapter.

Omicron Delta Epsilon is the International Honor Society in Economics and recognizes and promotes excellence in scholastic achievement. Congratulations to Rachel on her outstanding award!
