TRIO Programs will observe the National TRIO Day on Friday, February 24 with an Open House in 318A Math Science. This day of recognition serves to focus attention on the many benefits of poviding educational opportunity programs to young adults. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend. Mark your calendar for March 30, when TRIO Programs will host its annual TRIO Day Awards Celebration. The event will include the 4th Annual Silent Auction with many items on which to bid. The auction provides funds for the TRIO Book Scholarship and Pre-College funds. Auction donations include items from Garden Smiles, Klotz Floral, Dining Services, Mary Kay, and Avon. The silent auction begins at 3:30 pm in 202B of the Bowen Thompson Student Union. The TRIO Day Awards Celebration starts at 4:30 pm with President Mary Ellen Mazey serving as the keynote speaker.
Summer Job Fair
Bowling Green State University will be holding its 31st annual Summer Job Fair for employers to identify and recruit talented students for part time, seasonal, and internships positions. The fair will be held on Thursday, March 1 from 11 am to 3 pm in the Lenhart Grand Ballroom located in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union. Students should bring copies of their resumes and their BGSU ID. Business casual attire is appropriate for students attending the fair. The Summer Job Fair is a great opportunity to interact with recruiters and begin searching for a summer job!
