Overtime charges are applicable to events which require access to the Bowen-Thompson Student Union prior to or after posted building hours. Such charges may also apply to events which extend beyond the confirmed reservation time when that extension occurs after posted building hours.

Facility hours vary with seasons. Please verify with your event coordinator exact building hours surrounding your event.

Early Opening/Late Closing for Registered BGSU Student Organizations		$40/hour
Early Opening/Late Closing for BGSU Academic and Administrative Departments or Organizations		$50/hour
Early Opening/Late Closing for Off-Campus Clients		$75/hour

*Off-Campus Event Rates: If the event is being hosted by an organization with no direct affiliation to the University, it is considered an off-campus event. This rate also applies to private events sponsored by an individual(s).

** Co-Sponsored Event Rates: If 1) the event is being hosted by a University department or organization and 2) more than 50% of persons attending the event are not affiliated with the University, the event is considered a co-sponsored event.

Student organization and University department sponsored events are not usually charged facility fees.

Alumni, current students, and current or retired employees of Bowling Green State University are eligible for a 5% discount on facility fees for a private event.
