Contact Tables

Using the Bowen-Thompson Student Union contact tables is one of many ways for a registered student organization, University department, or an approved commercial vendor to advertise events and services.  With nearly 12,000 entries in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union daily, our contact tables provide a great way to get the word out.

 

Please find listed below the policies for use of contact tables in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union.

 

  • Consecutive week reservations are not permitted. Space is reserved in order of dated requests.
  • Ten (10) table spaces are available in the first floor lobby. Exact table location is determined on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Prospective users of table space forfeit their space if not in use within one hour of the starting time specified on the reservation request form. Repeated failure to cancel a table reservation 24 hours prior to contracted time may result in loss of privilege to use table space.
 
  • Student organizations sponsoring a commercial vendor must take the approved reservation request form to the  Office of Campus Activities  (Room 401) for consultation on contracting procedures.   
  • Outside vendors can reserve contact table space, however, fees may apply.
  • The name of the using organization must be displayed. Posting on walls, columns, and windows is not permitted.

 

Available Equipment

One table and two chairs are provided for each organization/department. One T-stand per table may also be requested.   Requests for the use of additional equipment (to be supplied by the organization or the Student Union) must be made when submitting the reservation request.
