Event Rates
Facility and Equipment Rates
The Bowen-Thompson Student Union has three sets of group rates for the use of facilities and equipment. These rates are defined
by
1) who is hosting the event and
2) who is attending the event.
GROUP DEFINITIONS
Student / University Event Rates:
If 1) the event is being hosted by a University Department or Organization and 2) more than 50% of the persons attending the
event are affiliated with the University, it is Student/University event. (Generally, Student / University Events are not
charged for use of meeting space.)
Co-Sponsored Event Rates:
If 1) the event is being hosted by a University Department or Organization and 2) more than 50% of persons attending the event
are not affiliated with the University, the event is considered a co-sponsored event.
Off-Campus Event Rates: If the event is being hosted by an Organization with no direct affiliation to the University, it is considered an off-campus
event. This rate also applies to private events sponsored by an individual.
