Event Planning and Reservations offers event planning services for spaces in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Olscamp Center, Prout Chapel and several academic buildings.
The Bowen-Thompson Student Union can accommodate a wide range of events from meetings of 10 people to banquets for 500. Our
flexible meeting rooms, large event spaces, state-of-the-art audio-visual technology and event planning services are a perfect
combination for meetings, conferences, banquets, dances, or other types of events.
Olscamp Center includes a large event space, accommodating banquets for 300-350.
We also schedule spaces in academic buildings for non-academic use, such as department meetings, student organization meetings
and non-credit review/study sessions.
Reservations are filled on a “first come - first serve” basis. A minimum of two (2) weeks is required prior to a proposed
event.
Requests for the Bowen-Thompson Student Union and Olscamp Center are accepted beginning in November for the next academic
year. Requests for events occurring during the summer are processed after October 1st of the previous year. Institutional
needs are given priority in every semester. Requests for academic space are fulfilled once space assignments for academic
courses are complete; usually mid-summer for the fall semester, and the end of December for the spring semester.
