2009-2010 Insurance Process Highlights

What do you need to do??

• Compare the coverage and cost of your current plan to the BGSU-Offered Student Insurance Plan and Waiver Requirements

• After enrolling in 8 or more credit hours on main campus, go to www.bgsu.edu and “MyBGSU”, select “Student Insurance Requirement” along the left side bar to Waive or Enroll

• Have a copy of your health insurance plan and ID card available when completing the Waiver Form

• If you plan enroll in the BGSU Offered Student Insurance Plan, please confirm your decision at "MyBGSU/Student Insurance Requirement/Enroll"  by September 4, 2009 to ensure prompt eligibility in the plan

• If you do not complete the Student Insurance Process by September 4, 2009, your Student Account will reflect a $1,242 charge and you will be enrolled in the BGSU Offered Student Insurance Plan
