represent and advocate on behalf of your graduate student colleagues.

**Eligible candidates for this position must have served in some capacity in the Senate for at least one semester prior to the election.

International and Multicultural Affairs Chair
Local, Regional, and National Affairs Chair
Social Programming Chair
Publicity Chair
Student Affairs Chair
Parliamentarian

Graduate student representative on a Graduate Student Senate, Faculty Senate, or University-wide committee

To run for one of the elected SEC positions (see above), you must be nominated and seconded during the March 30th GSS General Assembly meeting.  Self-nominations are accepted!

 

Nominated and seconded candidates must complete a 'Graduate Student Senate Officer Application,' available in the GSS Office or by clicking here.  In addition, it is the responsibility of each candidate to provide a sufficient number of copies (70 copies) of the completed application to all members of GSS for review during the elections, which will be held during our Friday, April 4 General Assembly meeting. Candidates who do not provide copies for the General Assembly will be removed from the ballot.

 

All General Assembly meetings, which are open to the public, begin at 3:00 p.m. and are held in the McFall Assembly Room.
