The authority to enact and enforce regulations of the University is vested in the Board of Trustees. The responsibility for
enforcing regulations and imposing penalties is delegated to the President and any University officials the President may
designate. The President has drawn distinction between academic and non-academic misconduct. The Vice President for Academic
Affairs has the responsibility for academic misconduct. The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs is the principal
agency for the administration of non-academic student discipline and the Office of the Dean of Students shall implement the
non-academic student discipline procedures.
All references to the President of the University, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, or the Vice President for Student
Affairs shall also be interpreted to include persons designated to act in behalf of these officials.
