Welcome to the Student Discipline Programs website. This site is designed to help answer your questions regarding academic
and behavioral expectations of the BGSU student population. If you do not find the information you are looking for, please
contact a member of our staff.
The Bowling Green State University Student Handbook is the primary means for communicating important information and policies
affecting students. The Student Handbook is comprised of five sections: General Information, Public Safety, Student Codes
of Conduct, the Community Living Standards defining policies and procedures specific to on-campus, residential students, and
the Policy and Procedures section. Paper copies of the Student Handbook are available in the Office of the Vice President
for Student Affairs, 1st floor Conklin North and the Office of the Dean of Students, 301 Bowen-Thompson Student Union.
The Code of Student Conduct creates an expectation of behavior that the University views as acceptable. By fulfilling these
expectations, students can enjoy their own rights and responsibilities, while also respecting other's rights and furthering
the University's goals.
Student Discipline Programs serves to educate the University Community in regard to the Code of Student Conduct and to assist
those students who fail to adhere to the expectations described within the Code. The department is supervised by the Associate
Dean of Students.
