Personal Development Students have the opportunity to develop life skills and to improve their personal effectiveness at the University and beyond.
Topics range from money and time management to public speaking.
Financial Aid Workshop Participants review the financial aid application process and receive instruction on how to complete the application. Students
are made aware of the many grants, loans, and scholarships available to them. Additionally, students receive debt management
instruction to help them make wise financial decisions.
Career Workshop Program participants are introduced to the career and major exploration process and are provided with information regarding
the academic preparation needed for a variety of career fields. Students are made aware of the campus resources available
to assist with a major or career decision.
Graduate School Workshop Participants are encouraged to apply to graduate and professional schools. The entire application and admission process is
reviewed. A discussion of specific graduate programs and majors, the financial aid process, and letters of recommendation
take place during the workshop.
