Who are we?
Student Support Services (SSS) is a learning community funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. SSS is part
of the Trio Programs created to promote educational access for those who have been traditionally underrepresented in higher
education.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide unique and personalized academic support services in an environment that inspires engaged learning.
We want to encourage learning that is specific to your individual needs, as well as learning that is engaging for you. The
kind of learning experiences you are eager to be apart of.
How do we accomplish our mission? By working with you and for you, always operating with our core values at the forefront
of all that we do. We work with these core values in practice:
- Honesty and integrity
- Creativity
- Building Community
- Active Learning
- Mutual Responsibility
What does all of this mean to you? It means that your success here at BGSU is our mutual responsibility. You can achieve
here. You must be determined to do so. You must bring your honesty, integrity, creativity, willingness and ability to learn
and we will connect it all with the external resources you need to succeed!
