Student Money Management Services provides the following free financial education services to BGSU undergraduate and graduate
students.
- Individual financial education sessions with a Financial Services Educator (trained professional) and a Student Financial
Educator
- Falconomics Group Seminars (money management group seminars in a variety of campus settings)
- Web Site (an interactive and informational tool for BGSU undergraduate and graduate students with local, state, and national
financial education resources)
- BGSU Partner Offices (offices that impact on students' financial lives at the University)
At Student Money Management Services, you can:
- Talk to trained professionals about your personal finances confidentially
- Create an individualized budget
- Learn how to identify and track expenses during and after college
- Plan for tuition and fee payments
- Graduate with a plan for repaying your debt
- Identify financial education opportunities on campus
- Become organized for key student money management decision points
- Locate external financial education resources
There are some services Student Money Management Services will not be able to provide:
- Investment advice
- Interacting with creditors
- Selecting a financial institution
- Choosing financial planning services
- Tax advice and preparation
- Referrals to public assistance programs
- Retirement planning

| What are Falconomics Group Seminars? |

SMMS provides free financial education seminars designed to meet your financial needs. Seminars are based on student input so
the topics and content are relevant to you. We offer seminars in locations and times convenient for both on-campus and off-campus students.

First Year Success Series Banking for Your Life @ BGSU Monday, September 8 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. 314 Bowen-Thompson Student Union Reservations are encouraged but walk-ins are welcome.
President's Leadership Academy Customized Seminar Monday, September 22 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. 315 Bowen-Thompson Student Union Attendance limited to students participating in the President's Leadership Academy.
