Student Money Management Services provides the following free financial education services to BGSU undergraduate and graduate students.

• Individual financial education sessions with a Financial Services Educator (trained professional) and a Student Financial Educator
• Falconomics Group Seminars (money management group seminars in a variety of campus settings)
• Web Site (an interactive and informational tool for BGSU undergraduate and graduate students with local, state, and national financial education resources)
• BGSU Partner Offices (offices that impact on students' financial lives at the University)

At Student Money Management Services, you can:

• Talk to trained professionals about your personal finances confidentially
• Create an individualized budget
• Learn how to identify and track expenses during and after college
• Plan for tuition and fee payments
• Graduate with a plan for repaying your debt
• Identify financial education opportunities on campus
• Become organized for key student money management decision points
• Locate external financial education resources

There are some services Student Money Management Services will not be able to provide:

• Investment advice
• Interacting with creditors
• Selecting a financial institution
• Choosing financial planning services
• Tax advice and preparation
• Referrals to public assistance programs
• Retirement planning
