Refund/Forfeiture Schedule for 2013-14

If a Student finds he/she will be 1) unable to attend the University, 2) has decided not to reside on-campus and is eligible to live in off-campus housing or 3) commute from home according to the On-Campus Residency Requirement, he/she should immediately notify the Office of Residence Life to minimize financial loss. 

It is hereby agreed that the cancellation schedule set forth in this Agreement shall be applied in the event that the Student decides not to reside on-campus and cancels prior to occupancy and the forfeiture schedule set forth in this Agreement shall be applied in the event that the Student withdraws from the University after taking occupancy. This forfeiture schedule will be applied to the Full Academic year Agreement, the Full Academic Year Agreement with Breaks, and the 12 Month Agreement. The amount indicated shall be retained by the University as Cancellation or Forfeiture.  

FALL SEMESTER:
CANCELLATION COST SCHEDULE (before initial 2012-13 occupancy):

FORFEITURE SCHEDULE for for Full Academic Year Agreement (after initial 2012-13 occupancy):

August 20, 2012-August 26, 2012    10% of Housing Rate
August 27, 2012-September 2, 2012     20% of Housing Rate
September 3, 2012-September 9, 2012    40% of Housing Rate
September 10, 2012-September 16, 2012  60% Housing Rate
On or after September 17, 2012      Full Forfeiture of Housing Rate

SPRING SEMESTER
CANCELLATION COST SCHEDULE (before initial 2012-13 occupancy):

On or before November 30, 2012No Forfeiture
December 1, 2012-January 6, 2013    $200

FORFEITURE SCHEDULE for for Full Academic Year Agreement (after initial 2012-13 occupancy):
January 7, 2013-January 13, 2013       $10% of Housing Rate for Spring Semester
January 14, 2013-January 20, 2013        20% of Housing Rate for Spring Semester
January 21, 2013-January 27, 2013          40% of Housing Rate for Spring Semester
January 28, 2013-February 3, 201360% of Housing Rate for Spring Semester
On or after February 4, 2013       Full Forfeiture of Housing Rate for Spring Semester
