Spring Break Housing
The residence halls will officially close for spring break at 10 am Saturday, March 2, 2013 and will reopen at 12:00p.m. (noon) on Sunday, March 10. All residence halls will be closed, however, the Office of Residence Life will keep designated residence halls available for students with extenuating circumstances. If a residence hall does not fill to capacity, Residence Life reserves the right to close the building and reassign students to an alternate location for the duration of the break. All Greek units will be closed during each break. |

Spring Break Housing 2013
If you are in need of spring break housing, anytime between Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 10, you will need to complete an application through your MyBGSU “My Room and Meals” account by 5pm on Friday, February 22. Requests made after this date will incur a $25 late fee. Here are the steps:
- Log in to your MyBGSU account
- Click on "My Room and Meals" under the Financial header
- Select "Application" at the top of the page
- Select the box next to the break period you wish to sign up for and then follow the on-screen instruction
- Once your application has been approved, you will receive a confirmation email from our office with addtional instructions
Upon completing this application you will receive an email approving your break housing request with instructions. If you are assigned temporary housing, you will be given a new and temporary room assignment for the break along with instructions and procedures for checking into your temporary space. Once you have been approved for break housing, your bursar account will be charged for staying on campus during the break you selected (rates are listed on the application).

Limited dining options will be available on campus during break. Review the dining location hours during break.
