New Freshmen and Transfers only Activate your BGSU email/MyBGSU accounts When admitted, you should have received information from the Office of Admissions about your BGSU email account and your Web portal account (MyBGSU), and a temporary BGSU identification card, including your BGSU ID number. If you have not already done so, set up and activate your accounts. You will use your active MyBGSU account to submit the initial $200 housing payment, to complete the online My Room & Meals Preference Form, and for conducting many other aspects of University business. MyBGSU is a secure Web site designed for online communities, learning and e-commerce. In order to activate your account, you will need:
This is a three-step process. In order to activate your account, you will choose a user name and password. Read and agree to the "Information Technology" policy and click the "Registration Complete" button. If you do not complete all three steps, your accounts will not be accessible. You will know that you have successfully activated your account when the "Registration Successful" page appears. You must wait 24 hours after activating your account to complete your room and meals preferences online. Steps to reserve your room and meals on-campus
Step 1. Go to the Web portal MyBGSU Step 2. Enter BGSU Username and your Password (same as your email) Step 3. Click on "My Room & Meals" under Financial Services Step 4. Read instructions on the Falcon Housing Sign-up page if you need more information. Step 5. Make the $200 initial payment. Step 6. Click on "Completed Housing Payment". This will take you to a new window. (All pop-up blockers must be turned off.)
You do not have to create a Screen Name unless you are being pulled in as a roommate by an upperclassman. After July 2, you can log back into My Room & Meals to view your assignment. |
