Living away from home within a new and diverse community will allow you many opportunities for friendship, fun and personal growth. We hope you find everything you need to be successful academically and personally here at BGSU.  Remember, our staff is here to help answer any questions or concerns and to welcome you to the campus community.

Finding a Place to Live
There are many housing options available to students. Housing sign-up for the spring 2010 semester is currently available. Sign-up for students starting at BGSU in the fall 2010 semester will begin on November 30, 2009.  Until then, make sure to check out our different residence halls to determine where you would like to live. You can also sign up to live in our Residential Learning or Theme Communities at any time.

The Costs
Rooms range from $2,215 to $3,700 per semester depending on the residence hall and room type. Meal Plans can range from $1,440 to $1,870 depending on individual preference. For room rates and meal plan prices, look at our full rate descriptions. For more information on meal plans, please refer to the Dining Services website.

Communities
Our Residential Learning Communities have been nationally recognized as among the best by U.S. News & World Report! BGSU offers many different Residential Learning and Theme Communities that fit many different lifestyles and interests. Check to see if we have a Community that fits your lifestyle!

Roommates
When you submit your housing preferences, you can choose to request a roommate or be assigned one.  If you are not requesting a specific roommate, it is important  for you to accurately fill out the Lifestyle Questionnaire to help us best match you with a roommate. Living with a roommate can be one of the best parts of your college life experience. To ensure that both roommates have similar expectations, each student is required to fill out a roommate agreement. If problems arise that you are unable to work out with your roommate, seek out the assistance of a Resident Advisor or Hall Director. They will be more than willing to help make your life in a residence hall a great experience!
