New Incoming Students only

Admitted students will automatically receive a Guide to Student Housing and Dining. Included in this mailing is the residential agreement card in which either the full payment (as shown below) or the first installment plan payment will need to be made on or before the indicated due date.

You may also submit a preference form indicating your desired halls, roommate (if any) and meal plan. We will attempt to honor preferences, however, we cannot guarantee assignment to a particular hall or roommate. Single rooms are in high demand and are typically awarded to continuing on-campus students.

Room, meals and fees (instructional, general and nonresident fees) may be paid on BGSU’s Installment Payment Plan. For more information, please visit the Office of the Bursar's web site.

Assignment notification will be e-mailed (to student’s BGSU e-mail account) approximately two weeks prior to the first day of classes to those students who have made the full payment or the appropriate installment payment to the Office of the Bursar. Notification will include your roommate’s name, address and phone number, and the residence, room number and phone number.
