We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your son/daughter to Bowling Green State University. Although it is important for your son/daughter to make the college transition on their own, we want to encourage you to stay involved in your child's life and informed about university procedures. Room Changes - If your son/daughter is unsatisfied with his/her housing assignment, they can inquire about a room change after the two week freeze period at the beginning of each semester.
- If your son/daughter would like to know the availability of rooms in his/her current residence hall, please advise them to visit the front desk of that residence hall.
Dealing with roommate conflicts At the beginning of each academic year, your son/daughter will fill out a roommate agreement form. In this form, your son/daughter and their roommate establish a plan of action if a conflict should arise. Please advise your son/daughter to follow this plan of action. If problems continue, your student should contact their Resident Advisor or Hall Director. | |
