BGSU offers 14 residential learning and theme communities. We believe that students learn best when their academic and personal lives are linked. This is why the University offers residential learning and theme communities where students with similar interests and goals enjoy living and studying together within their own residence area. In academically based residential learning communities you work closely with outstanding faculty members right in the residence hall setting.

In theme communities you live close to others who share common interest, but without a direct link to specific academic classes or programs. These opportunities allow you to develop connections within a smaller community yet be active in many facets of the wider University community.
