Bowling Green State University offers several recreational facilities for the University community and guests. The Student Recreation Center is devoted to the recreation and fitness interests of conference guests. The Perry Field House also offers recreational activity for special events during the summer. The BGSU Ice Arena is another popular spot for recreation activities.
The Student Recreation Center offers modern and expansive recreational facilities for guests. The 185,000 square foot complex features exercise facilities on four levels, including two swimming pools, a whirlpool/spa, 14 handball/racquetball courts, three squash courts, a cardio center, an elevated running track, an Activity Center (weight room) and a large Sports Center which accommodates basketball, tennis, volleyball, and badminton. The 1/3 mile lit jogging trail, surrounding the lower lake north of the Student Recreation Center is open to walking and jogging enthusiasts.
A special rate of $5/person/day is provided for conference guests to use the Recreation Center. Prior arrangements must be setup in advance for the usage of the Recreation Center and the Field House. These arrangements can be made through the Conference and Event Services Office when scheduling your conference.
