Spring Break Hall Closing Information

RESIDENCE HALL SPRING BREAK CLOSING INFORMATION

General Information

• All residence halls and Greek houses will close for the semester at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013
• Students should check out of their residence halls within 24 hours after their last class
• Students who need to remain late should complete an Extended Stay request form at the front desk of their residence hall
• When You Move Out, Don’t Throw It Out (WYMO) collects donations. To learn more visit the WYMO website
• Please review BGSU Dining's website for locations and hours of operation during the break

Student Instructions:

• Clean the room
• Empty all trash and take to dumpster
• Empty room recycling containers and take to larger recycling containers in hall or lobbies
• Unplug all appliances (fish tanks and refrigerators are OK to be left plugged in for this break)
• Leave heat on (so that pipes will not freeze in the event of cold weather)
• Close and lock your windows
• Leave curtains open unless you are on ground floor (for security purposes)
• Take home any valuables
• Make sure furniture is not blocking room doors or windows
• Turn off all lights
• Lock door; take key and PED with you

REMEMBER:

• Only students on “approved to stay” lists are permitted to be in a closed residence hall during the break.
